Day 3: Practice with Heather

 

Hey there, yogi! Welcome to Day 3. My name is Heather and I’ll be your guide as we journey into practice together. Just as Alisa mentioned, I also deeply love this community, this practice, and the work I do here at BTL. Today I’m offering three classes you’ll experience with me each week at our virtual studio: All-Levels, Gentle, and Myofascial Release.

Here’s a bit more about each class:

  • All-Levels Yoga is your go-to class if you’re new to yoga, or have practiced in the past and want a good medium-level class to get a feel for who we are and how we teach.
  • Gentle Yoga is for you if you like less transitions and longer poses, with a focus more on the mind and on easing tension in the body. The more I practice, the slower I tend to go on my mat. This is my go-to. Maybe it’s yours too.
  • Myofascial Release is the most delicious release you can indulge yourself in. In this class, we work the fascia (connective tissue) in the body to deeply release tension, hydrate the body, and help with tender spots as well. You will need props for this, so pre-watch the video to see what you’ll need. And, believe me, it’s worth it!
