Introduction to the practice of yoga
This program is designed to meet beginners where you’re at: with light, accessible movement. We believe in creating a safe, non-judgemental, and non-competitive atmosphere, so you can begin your yoga journey pressure-free.
We believe the best practice is well informed. That’s why we offer foundations of practice, alignment, and the philosophy behind what we do on the mat and why we do it. You’ll learn things regular practitioners don’t know.
This program includes a PDF guidebook, video library, and daily emails, so you always know what’s coming. You can practice every day, or get ahead by stacking multiple classes into a single day.
This program is the perfect way to begin a yoga practice.
Whether you’re brand new to yoga (and not sure where to start) or you’ve practiced in your local gym or studio, and you want to learn more about the WHAT, WHY, and HOW of yoga – this program gives you all the information and support you need to feel comfortable and confident on the mat.
You’ll learn how to choose the best props for practice and what you really need to get started (hint: it’s not much!).
You’ll learn how to safely do classic yoga shapes like downward dog, and have daily support videos so you can practice again and again.
And you’ll learn the basics of yoga philosophy and have a chance to practice it, in real time, on your mat.
This program includes pre-recorded videos and supportive resources.

MEET YOUR INSTRUCTOR
Julie Love Gagen, 500 E-RYT
A chronic encourager, Julie is in love with the possibilities yoga has to offer.
She is committed to inspiring each and every person to discover who they are through caring, supportive, and inspiring practices on the mat.
For Julie, yoga has been a path to recover from unexplained illness, heartbreak, postpartum depression, and the ups and downs of motherhood with littles.
Julie’s study began with pushing physical boundaries in power yoga classes. Her personal study today pushes different boundaries, as she cultivates her continued desire to slow down, create internal space, increase mental clarity and focus, and find quiet amidst the chaos.
