In popular culture, we’re lead to believe that yoga is a set of accessible stretches on the ground. And while that is partly true, it is such a limited perspective on what yoga is.
There is NOTHING that we do that is like yoga. It is a full mind-body-breath practice that has range, variability, and a huge depth of history. There is a huge range of experience in a yoga class, from a fitness-based power class, to a gentle chair-based breath class.
Through this class, we will begin to put some words to WHAT IS YOGA?
