This indulgent, slow, connected practice offers breath, space, and accessible stretches to give you the space to relax the body, mind, and spirit in a delightfully grounding practice.
Classes may include breathwork, light stretching, and floor-based yoga shapes for a grounding, relaxing, and calming experience. You will move slowly, calming the nervous system by moving slower, more attention to breath, less poses, and longer exhales.
This is a mat-based yoga class. Shapes are accessible, and adaptations and modifications are offered for each pose. This class is accessible for beginners. We recommend two blocks, a strap, and a yoga blanket. Also, a large pillow or bolster may be used.
What is Gentle Yoga?
Gentle yoga is all about moving slow, caring for your body, and taking time in each pose. Our Gentle yoga is delightfully indulgent, slow-moving class, filled with accessible poses, indulgently long holds, and plenty of opportunity to deepen your practice in the way that feels best for you.
In this class, we encourage deep care and self-compassion, to infuse the body, mind, and spirit with support and kindness.
